This is a project I have been toying around with for years.
One crisp, clear, sunny morning in Palm Dessert, my husband and I noticed a trumpet flower bush busy with life. Bees were flying in and out of the long skinny flowers. Drinking nectar and gathering pollen...ya know...what bees do.
Except one bee. Instead of climbing into the flower he ripped open a hole to get to the nectar inside. He was a cheater bee!
This children's book will be about Chet (the name we gave the unconventional bee) and his adventures.
